Shiori Geier, BCTMB (Massage Therapist), graduated with her A.A.S. in massage therapy from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Her interests in health and healing began during her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Minnesota where she learned how mind can affect body, and vice versa. She continued her study in graduate school with an emphasis on gerontology, psychology, and spirituality. She believes that the interconnectedness and balance of the mind, body, and spirit are a key to one’s happiness and well-being. Her goal as a massage therapist is to serve others in their journey of healing and self-care by helping them become more aware of their body. She also has a certification in manual lymphatic drainage.
Shiori, originally from Japan, moved to the Twin Cities in 2010. She strives to make a warm, relaxing environment to promote healing and a feeling of happiness. Outside of the massage room she enjoys practicing yoga, playing the piano, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their beloved dog, Chilo.
